He finds a locator spell that seems to work, bringing someone to the bunker who looks and sounds exactly like Dean, but isn't. Sam's missing his brother something awful, and having his doppelgänger around is pretty confusing.
Note: This is a little story that came to me after watching "Behind the Scenes: A Fan's Perspective," because I was worried about Sam being all alone after Dean left him at the end of Season 9.
